What It Means to Be Inspired by Living Well

For a long time, I was inspired by fitness.

Movement helped me heal, rebuild, and find my footing during one of the hardest seasons of my life. In 2013, that inspiration became Inspired by Fitness—my self-prescribed grief therapy business rooted in strength, resilience, and the belief that movement could change lives.

And it did.

But over time—both personally and professionally—I realized fitness was never the whole story.

Living Well Is More Than Fitness

Women don’t live in neat boxes. We live big, full complicated lives—careers, families, caregiving, relationships, hormones, and a mental load that never really shuts off. Somewhere along the way, “being healthy” became another thing we were supposed to do perfectly.

Inspired by Living Well was born from that realization and my own journey.

Living well isn’t about doing more, pushing harder, or chasing perfection. It’s about how we live day in and day out, especially in real life.

Because what we do every day matters far more than what we do once in a while.

The Evolution (And the Permission)

As women—especially in our 40s, 50s, and beyond—our bodies change. Our priorities shift. What worked before often stops working, and no one hands us a new playbook. And no one ever warned me about perimenopause and the fact that this health condition can last up to 10 years!

Living well means giving yourself permission to evolve. To let go of outdated expectations, diet culture noise, and the idea that health has to look a certain way. Often, living well means doing less— consistently with more intention.

A Whole-Person Approach to Health

Being Inspired by Living Well means choosing a holistic approach to health—one that honors your physical health, mental wellbeing, emotional resilience, and the season of life you’re in.

It’s not about extremes. It’s about:

  • Small, sustainable choices

  • Support instead of self-criticism

  • Honest conversations about hormones and mental wellness

  • Habits that actually work in real life

This Is What Living Well Means to Me

Living well means:

  • You don’t have to do it alone

  • Strong women still need support

  • Health is something you practice—not something you “achieve”

Inspired by Living Well isn’t a finish line. It’s a choice—one you make, one bite at a time.

And if you’re here, you’re likely ready for a healthier, more realistic and supportive way forward. Welcome.
