Finding Strength Within

For nearly two decades, this rock at the entrance of my neighborhood has stood through every season with me—strong, imperfect, and still standing. Thirteen years ago, during a season of deep grief and trauma, it became more than a landmark. It became my reminder that strength doesn’t disappear—it gets rebuilt.
At my lowest point, healing started with a simple daily decision: get up, get out and face the world, and move forward—one bite at a time. What used to be the turnaround point on my daily jogs became my walking goal for rebuilding strength, both physically and emotionally. No grand plan. Just showing up.
That season changed everything. It led me to start my self-prescribed grief therapy business, Inspired by Fitness, where I was honored to support hundreds of people as they rebuilt strength, fitness levels and confidence. My journey and everything I’ve learned and become a student of has led me here, to create Inspired By Living Well, where it’s about more than just fitness, it’s about living well in all areas of life. I am inspired by living well to serve my passion for empowering lives, one woman at a time.

Why Women’s Health and Mental Wellness

Let’s be honest—women carry a lot. The mental load alone could qualify as a full-time job.
We manage our own health, our families’ needs, aging parents, children, careers… and somehow we’re still expected to have it all together. Add hormonal shifts, unrealistic expectations, and a healthcare system that wasn’t built with female bodies in mind, and exhaustion starts to feel normal.
That’s why I specialize in women’s health. We need trained professionals who understand how our bodies actually work—and how complex our lives really are. And that’s why mental wellness matters just as much. Because healing doesn’t start on the outside. When we support the mind and brain first, everything else—from energy and mood to habits and health—has a chance to fall into place.

“One Bite at a Time” became my healing mantra as part of my self-prescribed grief therapy. My approach to life, healing and living well has evolved into combining my passions and training in the women’s health and mental health arenas to empower lives, One Woman At a Time.
